Dakota Eduational Consulting pledges to provide comprehensive services when assisting the school district in securing a superintendent.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
Pre Interview Process
Develop hiring criteria and qualifications
Establish appropriate time lines for search process
Contacts key stakeholder groups to determine the ideal leadership profile for the district
Advertise and recruit prospective candidates
Receive, process, and screen applicants
Conduct thorough reference checks
Interview Process
Organize and coordinate the interview process for all District stakeholders
Assist the School Board in selecting final candidates to be interviewed
Assist the School Board with the final selection of a superintendent
Assist the School Board in the negotiation of a contract for the candidate selected for the Superintendent position.
Keep candidates informed of their status in the process
Post Interview Process
Provide mentoring services to the School District for one year following the hiring process
(If requested by the School Board)
Assist the School Board and Superintendent in the development of a Professional Growth Plan
Establish a format to effectively evaluate and support the superintendent during the first year of employment
