CONSULTANT SERVICES PROVIDED
Superintendent Services
- Work cooperatively with the School Board(s) to recruit, interview, select and mentor a Superintendent of Schools.
- Services will be "full service" with support from the beginning of the Search process until a candidate has been secured.
- Services are personalized to meet the unique needs of the School District.
- Search services can extend to other administrative positions within the School District.
Strategic Planning Services
- Meet with the School Board and Administration to identify scope and purpose of the Strategic Planning process
- Identify a process that will involve key educational audiences with the community and School District.
- Use focus groups and/or electronic methods to gather input on strengths, weaknesses and potential growth areas for the school district.
- Conduct focus group meetings and a School Board retreat to determine future goals and objectives.
- Establish monitoring and evaluation procedures to measure the effectiveness of identified goals and objectives.
Mentoring Services
- At the request of the School Board, mentoring services can be provided to ensure a successful initial year for the Superintendent of Schools.
- A mentoring plan is constructed for one year. The plan could include book studies, evaluation procedures, organizational health surveys, technical assistance and "just in time" mentoring services.
- Meet with the School Board a minimum of one meeting to discuss progress of Superintendent.
